Children in Years 1 & 2 have a playtime from 2.15 pm until 2.30 pm. Children in Years 3 & 4 do not have an afternoon playtime.
Drop-off and collection
Parents are asked to drop their children off at the beginning of the school day. This helps to build up a good relationship between home and school. If you are not going to be collecting your child at the end of the school day please let us know (e.g. If you are delayed or another person is picking up your child).
Getting to and from school
We have bike and scooter racks so that you can leave bikes and scooters at school (at your own risk). We recommend that you bring locks to lock bikes and scooters during the day. We would ideally like children to walk to school as this is really good exercise, but if you do need to use the car to get to school please remember that the school car parks are for staff only (this includes when picking up from after-school clubs). Please also respect car parking regulations near the school. Car parking is available nearby at Asda and the Rose Lane car parks. At the East Site there is a car park beside the community centre.
